Miller Industries has been welcomed aboard as the new Official Towing and Recovery Equipment Provider of NASCAR. The sport announced January 29 that Miller Industries has “strengthened their presence” and have signed a long-term agreement to be the official provider of towing and recovery equipment at NASCAR-sanctioned events.
“Miller Industries will provide NASCAR with a complete fleet of towing and recovery equipment to utilize at national series events across the country, building upon a long-standing relationship and expanding its support across the sport,” via NASCAR communications on X.
Kipp Felice, Vice President of Marketing at Miller Industries, said in a statement that he is looking forward to partnering with NASCAR in what should show a testament to the strength of the towing and recovery business.
“Together, we’re helping elevate operator awareness, safety initiatives and the future of the towing and recovery profession,” he added.
Miller Industries will make its debut as NASCAR’s official partner at this weekend’s Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray-Stadium in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, which is scheduled to take place at 8 p.m. Eastern time on February 1.

Miller Industries Replaces Stepp’s Towing Service as Official Partner
With Miller Industries now as the Official Towing and Recovery Equipment Provider of NASCAR, that leaves Stepp’s Towing Service out, now formerly the official partner. Stepp’s Towing joined NASCAR as the sport’s Official Track Recovery Service Partner ahead of the 2022 season, the first year of the NextGen era.
Stepp’s Towing, based in Tampa Bay, Florida, is a family-owned business that was founded in 1960 by the late Jim Stepp. Jim’s son, Tim, is the current President of the company. Since its founding, Stepp’s Towing has been serving the Tampa Bay area for over 60 years.
When Stepp’s Towing joined forces with NASCAR, Tim expressed how they planned on providing the sport with their services in a statement.
“With over 60 years of experience providing top quality towing, heavy transport and recovery services in the state of Florida, we are fully committed and prepared to deliver that same level of service on a national basis across the NASCAR national series with a highly proficient, well-trained and dedicated team of towing professionals,” he said.
From the time Stepp’s Towing partnered with NASCAR in 2022, they provided towing and wrecker vehicles for all three of the sport’s major series.
