Due to the lengthy postponement of this year’s Cook Out Clash at Bowman-Gray Stadium, NASCAR is making good with fans who won’t be able to attend. For those who can’t attend the event, now taking place the evening of Wednesday, February 4, they can get a full refund on their ticket or a 120 percent credit for a future NASCAR event.
To receive either the refund or credit, the original account holder who purchased tickets for the Clash must submit the website request form within 14 days of the event. When the ticket holder makes the request, a ticket agent will reach out to them to finish the process.
If a ticket holder doesn’t submit the form and doesn’t attend Wednesday’s event, an automatic 120 percent credit will be applied for a future NASCAR event. However, if the tickets are used on the impacted date, the ticket holder won’t be eligible for a credit or refund.
The 120 percent credit can be used for any future NASCAR event in 2026 at a NASCAR-owned track, except for the Daytona 500 and the championship race at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The offer is valid through December 1, 2026. The eligible tickets for a credit include things such as any parking passes or add-on that were purchased.
NASCAR postponed Cook Out Clash for a Second Time
The Cook Out Clash exhibition at Bowman-Gray Stadium to kick off the 2026 season was set to take place on Sunday, February 1. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans as significant snowfall in Winston-Salem, North Carolina pushed the event back to Monday, February 2.
Yet, on Sunday, February 1, NASCAR announced they were pushing the event back again as it’s now set to take place on Wednesday, February 4 at 6 p.m. Eastern time. The race can be watched on FOX or listened to on the Motor Racing Network.
The race is set for 200 laps to make up 50.6 miles around the 0.25-mile North Carolina short track. It is the second time The Clash has taken place at Bowman-Gray Stadium, which is nicknamed “The Madhouse.” Chase Elliott enters Wednesday’s event as the defending winner after pacing the field for 171 of 200 laps last year.
NASCAR Heads For Daytona Speedweeks Next Week

The NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series circuit will kick off its season on Friday, February 13 at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time with the Fresh from Florida 250. On Saturday, February 14 at 5 p.m. Eastern time, the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series begins their season with the United Rentals 300.
Finally, the 68th Daytona 500 will take place on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. Eastern time.
