On Monday night, the Atlanta Hawks will host the New York Knicks at State Farm Arena in Georgia.
The Hawks most recently beat the Brooklyn Nets (in New York) by a score of 141-107.
CJ McCollum led the way with 25 points.
Atlanta Hawks Announce Signing Of 8-Year Player
Before their game against the Knicks, the Hawks officially announced the signing of Tony Bradley.
Brad Rowland of Locked On Hawks wrote: “The Hawks have officially announced the (widely reported) signing of Tony Bradley.”
Bradley has played in 38 games for the Indiana Pacers this season.
He is currently averaging 4.0 points and 2.8 rebounds per contest while shooting 55.7% from the field.
Bradley’s NBA Career
Bradley was the 28th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft out of UNC.
He has also spent time playing for the Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls, Oklahoma City Thunder and Philadelphia 76ers over eight seasons.
His career averages are 4.3 points and 3.8 rebounds per contest while shooting 62.1% from the field in 231 games.
Last season, Bradley was part of the Pacers team that reached the 2025 NBA Finals.
ESPN’s Shams Charania wrote (on April 4): “The Atlanta Hawks are signing veteran center Tony Bradley to a deal for the remainder of the season, adding frontcourt depth in wake of an injury to Jock Landale, sources tell ESPN. Atlanta has had a hot second half, surging to No. 5 in the Eastern Conference.”
Hawks Right Now
The Hawks are fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with 45-33 record in 78 games.
They are in the middle of a four-game winning streak (and have won eight out of their last ten).
Following the Knicks, the Hawks will play their next game on Wednesday when they visit James Harden and the Cleveland Cavaliers in Ohio.
The Hawks last made the NBA playoffs in 2023.
They reached the Eastern Conference finals during the 2021 season.
