On Friday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers will be in Georgia to play the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena.
The Cavs are coming off a 122-116 victory over the Hawks (at home) in Ohio.
Jarrett Allen finished with 16 points, eight rebounds and two steals while shooting 4/9 from the field in 29 minutes of playing time.
Cavaliers Make Jarrett Allen Announcement
For Friday’s game, the Cavs have announced that Allen has been ruled out.
Danny Cunningham of Locked On Cavs wrote: “#Cavs list Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen, and Sam Merrill all as out tomorrow against the Atlanta Hawks.
Thomas Bryant (calf strain) is also out.
Jaylon Tyson (left great toe bone bruise) is questionable.”
Allen is in the middle of his sixth season playing for the Cavs.
The former Texas star is averaging 15.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 63.8% from the field in 56 games.
Cavs Right Now
The Cavs are the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 51-29 record in 80 games.
They are in the middle of a four-game winning streak (and have won eight out of their last ten).
On the road, the Cavs are 25-15 in 40 games played away from Ohio.
Following the Hawks, they will play their final game of the 2026 regular season on Sunday when they host the Washington Wizards.
The Cavs will have a lot of eyes on them heading into the 2026 NBA playoffs.
They are coming off a year where they were the first seed (but lost in the second round to the Indiana Pacers).
Hawks Before Cavs Visit
The Hawks are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 45-35 record in 80 games.
They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak (but still 7-3 over their last ten).
Following the Cavs, the Hawks will play their final game of the 2026 season when they visit the Miami Heat on Sunday in Florida.
