The Cavaliers will get another day off to begin the weekend. Then on Sunday afternoon, they’ll host the Boston Celtics to open up a back-to-back set.
The back-to-back will close out with a home matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night.
It’s too early for the Cavs to reveal Mitchell’s status in those matchups, but his presence at practice on Friday is at least a solid indication that he’ll get a chance to play in one of those two games.
The Cavaliers will have a better idea of Mitchell’s status when they submit their first injury report for the Celtics matchup on Saturday night.
