Just as Peyton Watson was getting settled in with the Denver Nuggets after missing a chunk of time, the veteran forward is back to dealing with a setback.
During the Nuggets’ Wednesday, April 1, win over the Utah Jazz, Watson was taken out of the game due to hamstring tightness.
When the Nuggets announced he was getting evaluated, Watson was officially ruled as questionable to return. The game concluded, and Watson did not return.

“I don’t know anything yet,” Adelman said. “This has just been… It’s just every night it seems like. We’re just trying to get Peyton in a rhythm. As far as I know, it was just discomfort.”
After Watson played in 33 minutes against the New York Knicks on February 4, he missed over one month of action.
The veteran forward returned to the court on March 22 to face the Portland Trail Blazers.
While Watson got the next day off against the Phoenix Suns, he returned to the court for the following outing against the Dallas Mavericks. He played in three straight games before checking in for his fourth on Wednesday.
