The upset against the Denver Nuggets is officially complete for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Jaden McDaniels’ prediction after a Game 1 loss in Denver, Colorado, has been backed up.
McDaniels did a lot more than just claim the Timberwolves were going to win the series early on. He verbally applied pressure to the Nuggets throughout the six-game series. Evidently, it got under Denver’s skin, but McDaniels helped dominate on the court as well.
After the Timberwolves took down the Nuggets with a 110-98 win on Thursday night in Game 6, Jaden McDaniels sent his final message to the Nuggets.

The Timberwolves never lacked confidence throughout the series, but Minnesota’s victory is certainly an upset.
Not only did the Timberwolves enter the playoffs as the Western Conference’s sixth seed, but they lost two starters in the process of the series. Anthony Edwards and Donte DiVincenzo missed the final two full games, along with half of Game 4.
Next up, the Timberwolves are set to face the San Antonio Spurs in round two. Game 1 is expected to take place on Monday, May 4.
