It’s been another incredible season for the veteran superstar center, Nikola Jokic.
On Sunday, Jokic wrapped up the year with his 65th game, where he cleared the required 15 minutes he needed to play in order to qualify for awards and All-NBA.
The star center finished the year by leading the NBA in two major categories. On Monday, the NBA announced the three-time MVP’s big accomplishment.

Wilt Chamberlain led the NBA in both categories in 1967-68, when leaders were determined by totals.

The star center shot 56.9% from the field and 38.0% from three, in order to produce 27.7 points per game.
Along with his scoring, Jokic dished out 10.7 assists per game (3.7 turnovers on average), and came down with 12.9 rebounds per game.
The MVP finalists haven’t been revealed by the NBA just yet, but Jokic is expected to get strong consideration as a finalist once again.
Since Jokic won the award for the first time in 2020-2021, the Nuggets’ enter has finished top two in four-straight seasons. This year could be his sixth-straight season as a finalist. If he wins, Jokic would be a four-time MVP.
