On Friday night, the San Antonio Spurs beat the Portland Trail Blazers (in Oregon) by a score of 120-108.

They now have a 2-1 lead over the Trail Blazers with Game 4 on Sunday.

On Saturday, Basketball Hall of Famer (and Spurs legend) Tim Duncan is celebrating his 50th birthday.

One person to send him a message was the Spurs.

Duncan last played in the NBA during the 2016 season.

He spent his entire career playing for the Spurs.

Duncan was the first pick in the 1997 NBA Draft out of Wake Forest.

In addition to winning five NBA Championships, he never missed the playoffs.

Over 19 seasons, Duncan played with legendary teammates such as David Robinson, Tony Parker, Manu Ginóbili, Kawhi Leonard and Bruce Bowen.

His career averages were 19.0 points, 10.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.2 blocks per contest while shooting 50.6% from the field in 1,392 games.
