The Baltimore Ravens have had plenty to celebrate this offseason, from a big free agency haul to locking up key pieces ahead of 2026.
But the latest news out of Baltimore has nothing to do with football, and it might just be the most heartwarming one.
Tyler Huntley just became a father of two. The Ravens backup quarterback shared a photo on his Instagram showing him in a hospital gown, holding two newborns, one in each arm.

Ravens QB Tyler Huntley’s Latest Personal Announcement Draws Attention
For a guy who has quietly become one of the most beloved figures in Baltimore, this is a big moment. Huntley came into the league as an undrafted free agent out of Utah in 2020, built a career through hard work and clutch performances, and has now started a family right as he heads into his most secure stretch as a pro.
He re-signed with the Ravens in March on a two-year deal worth up to $11 million, so the stability is there both on and off the field. Baltimore made it clear after last season that they did not want to go into 2026 without him, and Huntley made it just as clear he wanted to stay.
The two quarterbacks are also close friends who both grew up in South Florida, so this is genuinely a tight-knit situation. Lamar Jackson has always been one of Huntley’s loudest supporters, and that relationship makes the backup role feel different in Baltimore than it does anywhere else.

Last season, with Jackson sidelined by a back injury, Huntley stepped in and won both of his starts, beating the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers on the road. He completed over 77% of his passes, threw two touchdowns, posted a career-best 103.1 quarterback rating, and did not turn the ball over once.
Those two wins came at a time when Baltimore desperately needed them. Those two starts made Baltimore’s decision easy.
The Ravens re-signed Huntley in March on a two-year deal worth up to $11 million, keeping him as Jackson’s primary backup through the 2027 season. For a franchise that has struggled to find a reliable backup behind Jackson over the years, having Huntley back is genuinely important.
He has spent the bulk of his NFL career in Baltimore and knows this offense better than anyone. He runs a version of the same offense Jackson runs, which makes the transition almost seamless when he steps in.
That dual-threat ability is what separates him from a typical backup. He is not just a game manager holding things together. When Huntley plays, Baltimore does not have to completely reinvent what they do offensively, and that is a real luxury most teams do not have.
Now, with twins arriving right before training camp ramps up, Huntley heads into 2026 with a lot going on off the field. But the Ravens’ backup quarterback situation is locked in, Jackson is healthy, and “Snoop” is officially a father of two.
