Former Cleveland Browns receiver Elijah Moore has signed with the Buffalo Bills.

This offseason, the Buffalo Bills addressed the receiving room in a significant way by adding Los Angeles Chargers receiver Josh Palmer and Cleveland Browns receiver Elijah Moore.

Palmer and Moore are both on friendly contracts for the Bills, and both could step up for the Bills in a major way this season.

Elijah Moore Could Have A Nice Season

Moore is entering his fifth NFL season, and many Buffalo fans should be familiar with him since he was the 34th overall pick by the New York Jets in 2021.

Moore played in New York for two seasons before being traded to the Browns, where he spent the last two years.

There was a lot of hype for Moore coming out of Ole Miss in 2021, but through his first four NFL seasons, the hype has waned.

Some of Moore’s hype has gone away due to the quarterbacks he has played with throughout his career.

Both the Jets and Browns have struggled with quarterbacks over the past few seasons, which is one reason why Moore hasn’t achieved the production he wanted in his early NFL career.

Now, there are no more excuses for Moore since he will be playing with one of the best quarterbacks in the league, Josh Allen.

Allen should be able to get the best out of the four-year veteran, and it will be exciting to see what Moore can bring to the offense.

Moore Predicted To Lead The Bills In Touchdowns

Even though Moore has yet to play a game for the Bills, there is already a lot of high praise for him going around, and Jarrett Bailey from The Sporting News made a bold prediction that Moore will lead the team in touchdown grabs this season.

“Moore is one of the most underrated signings of the entire NFL offseason,” Bailey wrote. He had 61 catches in 2024, which would have ranked second amongst Bills wideouts last season. He is their most skilled boundary wideout, and he will lead the team in touchdown grabs.”

Thinking Moore will lead the Bills in touchdowns is a bold statement since there is a chance he will be the No. 4 or 5 receiver on the depth chart.

There is a chance Moore won’t even make the 53-man roster coming out of training camp since there are already a lot of pass catchers on the roster.

Buffalo didn’t sign Moore until early May, meaning he likely wasn’t a full part of the team plans, unlike Palmer, who was signed in March at the start of free agency.

It was a smart move for the Bills to sign Moore and see what he can bring to the table through training camp, and hopefully, he turns out to be a star.

This will likely be the last opportunity Moore has to make a name for himself in the NFL, as he is already on his third team in five seasons. Luckily for Moore, he went to a great place to try and restart his career playing for one of the best organizations in the league.
