The Buffalo Bills look to bring home their first-ever Lombardi Trophy this postseason. However, their first playoff matchup is a tough one against a surging Jacksonville Jaguars squad in the wild-card round.
While the Jaguars are on an eight-game win streak, Bills quarterback Josh Allen remains unfazed. “It’s do whatever it takes to get the job done,” he told reporters of his mindset heading into Sunday’s road game.
“We’re not doing anything extra in terms of preparation. We feel like throughout the year, this is how we prepare. This is how we try to win football games. You may spend a little longer watching certain looks in terms of what they can do to you and trying to clean things up on our end.
“But I think the process is the process. The standard that we have is the standard. So, we’re not trying to change a whole lot, just the mindset of going in there being ready to play.”

Before the Bills take on the Jaguars at EverBank Stadium, the NFL announced some excitnig news regarding Allen. The 29-year-old is up for another major award.

While Allen is 0-4 in road playoff games, the Bills as a franchise haven’t won on the road in the postseason since defeating the Miami Dolphins in the 1992 AFC championship game. Allen, however, isn’t overthinking it. History has shown Allen and Co. thrive when they’re considered underdogs.
“We’re going on the road for the first time in a long time in the Wild Card. So, different atmosphere going against a really good team that’s playing really good football right now. So, going to have our hands full,” Allen said. “And this is what playoff football is all about.”
“It’s still the game of football, right? The game hasn’t changed,” Allen said. “It’s just win or go home. That’s the mindset that we have.”
