ootball season is right around the corner, and that means that the release of the newest edition of Madden NFL is near. On Aug. 14, Madden NFL 26 will hit the shelves worldwide, giving fans of the game a chance to play with all the updated rosters before the real life season begins. And with the game’s release date fast approaching, EA Sports has started to reveals its player ratings for their newest game.

On July 31, the ratings for defensive players came out, with the top 10 at each position revealed. And the Jacksonville Jaguars got some much deserved love, with three of their players cracking the top 10 at their respective positions.

Which Players Cracked the top 10?

Josh Hines-Allen, Foyesade Oluokun and Devin Lloyd are the three Jaguars defenders that cracked the top 10. Hines-Allen leads all Jaguars players with a 90 overall rating, while Oluokun and Lloyd both made the top 10 at the linebacker position, with Oluokun rated at 87 overall and Lloyd rated at 85.

Hines-Allen’s rating makes perfect sense, considering how well he played in 2024. Finishing with eight sacks and 10 tackles for loss in 16 games played, Hines-Allen only needs 2.5 sacks in 2025 to become the Jaguars’ new all-time leader in sacks. Oluokun, a sixth round draft pick in 2018 out of Yale, has evolved into a superstar– leading the NFL in solo tackles in 2022 and 2023 and leading the league in combined tackles in 2021 and 2022.

Lloyd, a first round draft pick out of Utah in 2022, was named to the PFWA All-Rookie team and has become a crucial member of Jacksonville’s defense over the years.
