Brittany Mahomes shared a candid parenting moment this week, offering a look into daily life with her youngest child. The 30-year-old posted a video to her Instagram stories on April 7 showing her 14-month-old daughter, Golden Raye Mahomes, walking over and helping herself to Brittany’s lunch.

In the clip, Golden, wearing a frilled romper, holds a piece of bread and reaches toward a takeout container. “Stealing my food,” Brittany wrote alongside a laughing emoji.

Patrick Mahomes appears in the background of the video with his leg in a compression sleeve as he continues recovering from a season-ending injury.

Brittany Mahomes Shares Family Moments as Patrick Mahomes Recovers

Patrick is rehabbing after suffering an ACL tear on Dec. 14 during a game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The injury occurred late in the game and contributed to the Chiefs missing the playoffs for the first time in 10 years.

During the offseason, Patrick has spent time with his family. Brittany recently shared photos from the family’s Easter celebration featuring their three children: Sterling Skye, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon, and Golden Raye.

The family wore coordinated green, white, and brown outfits in the photos. “Happy Easter✝️,” Brittany captioned the post. Patrick’s mom, Randi Mahomes, also shared pictures from the celebration.

The images showed the children decorating eggs, taking part in an egg hunt, playing with a hamster, and posing with the Easter bunny. Patrick also organized a helicopter egg drop for the event, which drew attention online.

After the egg drop, Patrick walked with his children as they collected eggs. Sterling held his hand while Bronze followed nearby. Golden also joined the activity.

Golden’s arrival earlier in 2025 came during a busy period for the family. Patrick spoke about the timing in the ESPN docuseries “The Kingdom.”

“Brittany crushed it. I was watching playoff games the entire day. She went to labor after one game,” Patrick said. “Baby was here before the next game, so I didn’t even miss a playoff game. So, [Brittany] is as locked in as I am as far as football goes.”

Patrick also spoke about becoming a father of three during a Jan. 14, 2025 press conference. “It’s been cool to welcome another baby girl to the family and see how my other kids reacted to her,” he said. “So it’s been a lot of fun.”

Patrick Mahomes Balances Recovery, Community Work, and Family

In addition to family time, Patrick recently attended Lead to Read KC’s Reading Rally, which included 3,000 students from 27 Kansas City-area schools.

At the event, Patrick read from the book “Ella and One Great Race” and spoke about the importance of reading.

“To me, literacy rates is a reflection of community investment,” said Rhea LeGrande, executive director of Lead to Read KC, via the Kansas City Star. “So if our kids are not readers, because our community hasn’t really done everything we can do to help them be readers, so this is a representation of everything we can do.”

Patrick also shared what he enjoys most about playing for the Chiefs. “It would be to play at Arrowhead Stadium and just have all the fans and Chiefs Kingdom out there,” Patrick said, in a clip shared to X. “That’s a lot of fun.”

He also referenced meeting Taylor Swift. “I got to meet Taylor Swift, that was pretty cool too,” Patrick added.
