The Los Angeles Rams will face off against one of six remaining undefeated teams in Week 4, against the Indianapolis Colts.

After a heartbreaking loss thanks to a blocked field goal in the dying second of the game against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Rams can have a bounce-back game against the Colts.

Indy, currently, has the second-highest scoring offense in the league (34.3). For the Rams to hang in the game, the defense will need to have a stellar game to keep the score relatively low.

Los Angeles Rams pass rusher Jared Verse spoke to reporters about the upcoming Week 4 matchup against the AFC South opponent.

Jared Verse Praises Colts Quarterback

Daniel Jones is having a solid start in his tenure with the Indianapolis Colts after a training camp battle to become the starter for the organization.

The quarterback has led the team to a 3-0 record and is one of the better-performing players at his position currently. The former Duke Blue Devil has the third-most passing yards in the league and is tied for the third-most rushing touchdowns.

Los Angeles Rams‘ Defensive Rookie of the Year Jared Verse praised Jones before their Week 4 matchup.

“He is playing his best brand of football right now and he’s who he should of been coming out,” Verse said. “This is exactly who he is. Dotting stuff up. He can roll out the pocket, he’s faster than a lot of people think. You kind of have to be cautious of it. They’ve only given up two sacks [on the season].”

“So, you got to look at it, you got to be respectful of their O-line, they got dawgs all across the O-line. But you got to know where the advantages are, where the good matchups are. I’m feeling pretty confident in the ability we have to take advantage of that.”

Verse recorded his first sack of the season in the Week 3 matchup against the Eagles and could register more facing the undefeated Colts.

Offensive Threats For Indianapolis

The Rams‘ secondary will need to do a lot of work on Sunday as Indianapolis currently has one of the better, well-rounded offenses in the league.

Running back Jonathan Taylor is currently the leading rusher in the league and has three rushing touchdowns.

Indy has three players who have over 170 receiving yards and two more receiving threats approaching the 100-yard mark.

And with a good offensive line that allows the offense to thrive, it shouldn’t be a surprise that the Colts are off to a 3-0 start in head coach Shane Steichen’s third season.

Jared Verse and the rest of the defense will need to be on their A game to prevent the Colts offense from having another strong performance.
