Los Angeles Rams star wideout Puka Nacua is having quite the interesting offseason.
From making headlines for commenting “Love skydiving” on a post regarding actress Sydney Sweeney to being seen on a date with influencer Hannah Stocking, the spotlight hasn’t stopped there.
In an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Nacua jokingly compared Cleveland Browns pass rusher Myles Garrett to NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo in a way Garrett would not want to be compared to.

GettyMyles Garrett #95 of the Cleveland Browns and AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year looks on during the 15th Annual NFL Honors.
Nacua brought up Garrett’s name when host Pat McAfee was discussing the situation revolving Antetokounmpo’s trade rumors during the NBA trade deadline.
“Him [Giannis Antetokounmpo] and Myles Garrett, like, ‘I hate it, I don’t want to be here.’ And then, ‘Hey look, I’m back guys.'”
Garrett posted a cryptic post on his Instagram story when news of Browns’ defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz being visibly upset when he was not promoted to head coach, which has turned into Schwartz resigning from the Browns DC spot. Now that he’s no longer the DC, Garrett might request a trade once again, but according to Browns insider Mary Kay Cabot, it’s unlikely that the Browns will trade him away.
“They don’t expect Garrett to ask to be traded, but if he does, the answer will be ‘no,’ just like it was last year when he asked out to try to win a Super Bowl elsewhere.”
Antetokounmpo was also the main talk of the NBA trade rumors, but the Milwaukee Bucks decided to keep him, and no trade transpired.
Will the Rams Make Any Trades?
The Rams certainly have the draft capital to make a major trade this offseason. With two first-round picks, Los Angeles could go after someone like Garrett if the Browns change their stance on him. However, instead of making a big trade for a player like the Rams have done in the past, the biggest move the team might decide to make is trade up in the first round.
Last draft, general manager Les Snead confirmed that the Rams did look to trade up, but the asking price from other teams was too high.
“The answer was yes, but it was really for no particular player,” Snead said. “The value going up there, teams were asking (for) too much or more than we would give.”
A lot can change, and teams’ asking price might go down during the 2026 NFL Draft. Should the Rams decide to move up (specifically in the first round), here are some of the top prospects that could entice Los Angeles.
- Arvell Reese, linebacker
- Caleb Downs, safety
- Rueben Bain Jr., edge rusher
- Jeremiyah Love, running back
- Spencer Fano, offensive tackle
- Francis Mauigoa, offensive tackle
- Sonny Styles, linebacker
A lot can happen, and who knows, maybe Garrett will be teammates with Nacua in the near future.
