The Miami Dolphins now sit at 0-2 with their recent loss to the New England Patriots this past Sunday.

The Dolphins‘ offense looked disjointed and the defense continued to stumble.

And for fans in South Florida, the concerns continue to grow by the week.

Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner took an in-depth look at what went wrong for the Dolphins.

Warner took a look at Miami in a 49-minute video on his “Kurt Warner x QB Confidential” channel on YouTube.

His breakdown focused on the offense as a whole, highlighting Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill and the scheme under head coach Mike McDaniel.

Warner’s words carry weight and his message was clear:

The Dolphins have plenty to fix in a hurry if they are to beat the division-leading Buffalo Bills.

Warner Breaks Down Miami Offense

Kurt Warner did not hold back with his analysis.

He pointed out several miscues and what went wrong with the Dolphins best offensive players.

Warner started by putting the spotlight on quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

He points out that Tua missed open wide receivers during critical moments.

In one instance, Warner said Tagovailoa “threw it to the wrong side of the field” and on another occasion, Tagovailoa “threw it away when Tyreek was wide open.”

On another play, Warner made note of Tua’s footwork and said, “footwork was messed up and he missed an open Hill.”

Moreover, Warner didn’t stop at just the Dolphins quarterback, he also made a comment on wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

Warner mentioned that Tyreek Hill “screwed up” on one route, which led to Tagovailoa throwing an interception.

Warner also addressed the scheme itself.

He highlighted the struggles that Tagovailoa, in particular, is having and said, “Where Tua is getting messed up is scheme and what they’re trying to teach him.”

In the NFL, if a teams star players make critical mistakes, bad things usually follow.

This holds true in Warner’s analysis of the Dolphins, and it is clear that the Dolphins have plenty to improve moving forward.

“You can start to hear my frustration,” Warner said, “It’s some scheme-based, some Tua-based. He’s not seeing what you need to be seeing.”

Dolphins Face Big Questions Ahead Of Buffalo

The Dolphins’ issues go beyond just a few bad losses to start the season.

Through two weeks, the offense lacks rhythm and identity.

Things are not gelling.

With the NFL season just getting underway, the Dolphins do have time to right this ship.

With the offense at the focal point of Warner’s breakdown, the defense hasn’t done much to help either.

Through two games, Miami’s defense has surrendered a whopping 66 points to the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots.

Most notably, the defensive secondary has remained shaky at best.

It is clear that the departure of Jalen Ramsey and the injuries Miami has sustained in the secondary have created a concerning situation.

Now, the Dolphins have an upcoming date with the Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football.

With Josh Allen and a high-powered Bills offense on deck, the Dolphins need to clean up their mistakes quickly.

Starting the season 0-3 is not a bright horizon.

It is clear that the Dolphins are still searching for answers, and Kurt Warner’s comments underline more than a few truths.

Perhaps the biggest truth of all is Miami needs to operate with urgency, or their season could sink quickly.
