The New England Patriots lost Super Bowl LX to the Seattle Seahawks by a 29-13 margin, and Seahawks safety Nick Emmanwori trolled the Patriots on social media.
Emmanwori recorded five tackles in the game, as the Seahawks defense stifled the Patriots offense throughout the course of the evening.
His performance on Sunday put a bow on what was a stellar regular season. tallied 81 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 11 pass deflections, and an interception on the year. He was a major piece of the Seahawks defense this season. He further established himself as one of the best safeties in the NFL.
Now, he was in a celebratory mood and gave the Patriots a taste of their own medicine following the victory.

The rallying cry stems from the 1979 film “The Warriors.” In the movie, the gang leader taunts his rivals by chanting “Warrors, come out to play!” as he clinks bottles. The Patriots adopted the rallying cry ahead of Super Bowl LX and used it as a source of motivation ahead of the game.
New England Patriots Offense Stifled By Seahawks
The Patriots’ offense was stifled throughout the course of the game, as quarterback Drake Maye got his first taste of Super Bowl action. He went 22-of-43 on the evening, throwing for 295 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. He also led the team in rushing, recording five carries for 37 yards, as the Seahawks defense halted the Patriots’ ground attack.
The stifling defense related to the scoreboard as well. The Patriots did not score any points through the first three quarters. They were finally able to break through when Maye connected with wide receiver Mack Hollins for a 35-yard touchdown. It was a game where defense ruled the day for both teams, and Seattle established their dominance in a big way.
A Big Year For the Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks, and their defense, are celebrating their second Super Bowl win in the team’s franchise history. They went through a gauntlet of teams. This included the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams, before they took on the Patriots. They were able to pass both tests, as they defeated the 49ers by a 41-6 score and the Rams by a 31-27 margin.
This was also a banner year for Emmanwori. He was able make a major impact as a rookie as he won the NFL Rookie of the Week honors for his Week 10 performance against the Arizona Cardinals. The safety had nine tackles, four passes defensed, and recorded his first sack. He was nominated for the award in week 14 for his performance against the Washington Commanders. He had a sack and an interception over the course of the game.
Now he is celebrating and is having some fun at the Patriots’ expense. It may sting for Patriots fans as they had visions of winning their seventh Super Bowl title. Nevertheless, it was a learning experience for a team that is still relatively young. They were able to get a first-hand look at the best team in football. They could use this as a building block for a promising 2026 season.
