When Does the NFL Schedule Come Out?

The NFL schedule comes out Thursday, May 14, at 8 p.m. ET. Fans can watch schedule release coverage on NFL Network, ESPN2, the ESPN app and NFL+.

The full schedule release will finalize dates, times and TV assignments for the 2026 regular season. Until then, confirmed announcements and credible schedule leaks are expected to continue throughout the day.

2026 NFL Schedule Leaks

NFL schedule leaks are a major part of schedule release day. Some games are officially announced by the league, teams or broadcast partners before the full release, while other reported matchups surface through NFL insiders and local beat reporters.

The safest approach is to treat team, league and network announcements as confirmed, while  other reported games should be considered leaks or reports until the NFL releases the full schedule.
