Every Seattle Seahawks fan celebrated their epic ‘Thursday Night Football’ win over the Los Angeles Rams differently.

Some breathed a massive sigh of relief, some indulged in some adult beverages, and some just took a moment to take in an absolutely wild Seahawks win.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba decided to get up close and personal with the 12s at Lumen Field.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba Jumps into Lumen Field After Seahawks Win

Right after Eric Saubert caught the game-winning two-point conversion, JSN opted to stray away from his exuberant teammates.

Instead, Smith-Njigba leaped into the stands at Lumen Field right behind the end zone.

How can you not love that if you’re a Seahawks fan? It is just pure, unadulterated joy from Jaxon Smith-Njigba in that moment.

You also have to give JSN credit for how smoothly he hopped the rail at Lumen Field. One fluid motion was enough to propel him over the rail and celebrate with the Seahawks faithful.

His smooth leap makes perfect sense though, since Smith-Njigba is the most fluid route-runner in the NFL.

And what a cool moment for those fans?

Not only do you get to see one of the best and most exciting Seahawks games in recent memory, but then the best player on the team unexpectedly joins the party at your seats.

Talk about getting your money’s worth for the ticket.

Plus, this is not Lambeau Field where Green Bay Packers players jump into the stands after scoring a touchdown. There is not a tradition like that for Seahawks players at Lumen Field, so that makes JSN experiencing that euphoric moment with the fans that much cooler.

Any way you slice it, JSN provided those fans such a fun memory after such an exciting game.

Breaking Down Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s Great Season

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is in the midst of the best season that any Seahawks wide receiver has ever had. Even Hall of Famer Steve Largent never had a single season like JSN’s 2025 campaign.

With two games left in the regular season, JSN leads the NFL with 1,637 receiving yards. He is a slight favorite to win the Offensive Player of the Year award, although Puka Nacua gained some ground on him after finishing Thursday’s game with 225 yards and two touchdowns.

Whether JSN takes home the hardware is irrelevant to how good he has been. It looked like the Rams had him bottled up after he did not record a catch in the first half, but he made his presence felt later in the game. Smith-Njigba had eight catches for 96 yards and Seattle’s touchdown in overtime.

His TNF performance was another game with at least 90 receiving yards. JSN had 12 games with 90+ receiving yards last week after the Seahawks beat the Indianapolis Colts, and he now has 13 of those games for a player age 23 or younger.

Putting up that kind of production in 13 of 15 games is remarkable for a player of any age, let alone someone the same age as many college students.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is playing great football, and he may have a few more opportunities to celebrate with fans in the stands.
