Seattle is getting ready for a huge championship party.

The Seahawks World Champions Parade is set for Wednesday, February 11, after Seattle won Super Bowl LX with a 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots at Levi’s Stadium in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The biggest takeaway for fans planning to go: the day includes a ticketed stadium event, then a downtown parade route expected to draw 750,000 to 1 million people, and officials are urging people to plan ahead for closures and transit changes.

UPDATE, 11:24 a.m. ET: Seattle police are urging fans not to drive downtown, with 4th Avenue closing to traffic starting at 6 a.m. between Washington and Cedar, and key Lumen Field parking areas closed to the public. Officials are encouraging fans to use Link light rail and expect bus reroutes and major delays into early afternoon.

Seahawks parade start time and full downtown route

The day begins with a Trophy Celebration at Lumen Field at 10 a.m. The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required, and tickets are sold out. Gates open at 8:30 a.m.

After that, the parade begins at 11 a.m. at 4th Avenue and Washington Street. The Seahawks will travel northbound on 4th Avenue and the route ends at 4th Avenue and Cedar Street.

Seahawks parade route (quick answers):

  • Date: Wednesday, Feb. 11

  • Trophy Celebration: 10 a.m. at Lumen Field (ticketed; sold out)

  • Parade start: 11 a.m. at 4th Ave & Washington St

  • Parade end: 4th Ave & Cedar St (about 2 hours total)

Officials say the parade route is just over two miles through downtown Seattle and is expected to take about two hours. Also worth noting: no further activities or festivities are planned at Seattle Center after the parade wraps.

If you’re trying to pick a viewing spot, the simplest plan is to choose a section of 4th Avenue that’s easy for your group to find and easy to exit once things end, because with an attendance estimate that high, the sidewalks will fill fast.

  • Metro bus reroutes begin early (around 5 a.m.) and many routes will avoid downtown during closures.”

  • Expect 4th Ave closures and intersecting streets closed along the route during the parade window

How to watch the Seahawks parade live

How to watch/stream (local coverage):

  • KING 5 has exclusive live access inside Lumen Field for the trophy celebration portion.

  • FOX 13 Seattle is publishing a full-day coverage plan, including live coverage starting at 11 a.m. as the parade begins.

  • KOMO has said it will carry parade coverage online (including YouTube/online streaming options) starting at 11 a.m.

Road closures, transit, and what to expect downtown

Seattle is warning fans to expect significant delays traveling through downtown from early-to-late morning into the early afternoon.

Here’s what officials have confirmed:

  • Link light rail will operate as normal.
  • Sound Transit and King County Metro buses will operate on alternative routes.
  • Streets intersecting 4th Avenue are expected to be closed along the parade corridor during the main parade window.

Drivers should also expect brief holds around the start of the parade, with some highway on-ramps and off-ramps temporarily impacted. Real-time traffic and transit tools (including agency alerts and trip planners) are the best way to adjust on the fly.

What happens next for fans (and a quick freebie)

Fans can also pick up exclusive Seahawks World Champions rally cards at select Starbucks locations along the parade route downtown. Ticketed Lumen Field attendees will receive one at the gates.

For the latest updates, the city and team are directing fans to the official parade FAQ and logistics page on Seahawks.com.
