After being down 2-1 in the series, the Wild have fought back to win each of the last two contests against the Wild. Earlier this week, Minnesota won in OT 3-2 to tie the series at two apiece. This one, as you can tell by the betting lines, is purely a toss-up, as it’s been for pretty much every single game in this series.
The safest bet on the board is Dallas Stars to keep it within two goals (+1.5) at -250+. However, you then leave yourself open for the Wild to be up one goal in the final minutes, the Stars pull their goalie, and boom, the Wild win by two.
The best bet I’m going with here is the Dallas Stars to win outright. A game seven has felt in the cards for this entire series, so why not bet it? They’re also + money, but the sportsbooks are clearly indicating that this is basically a coin flip.
I expect Stars’ goalie Jake Oettinger to play much better in this one, and for the Stars to finally break through when at even strength.
