What time does Ilia Malinin skate? When does Ilia Malinin skate, the "Quad God," and how can you watch him? Here's the information.

The 2026 Olympics are in the midst of another exciting series of events, and on Friday, February 13, the men’s figure skaters take the stage. So, when does Ilia Malinin skate, the “Quad God,” and how can you watch the action on the ice?

Figure skating actually got its start at the Summer Olympics in 1908 in London, England, meaning it’s the first winter sport ever included in the Olympic program. The sport finally debuted with the Winter Olympics when the very first Winter Olympics were held in Chamonix, France, in 1924.

“Since then,” the official Olympics website states in feature on the history of the sport, “it has been one of the most watched and celebrated disciplines at the Winter Games, known for its blend of athleticism, precision, and artistry.”

So, here’s what you need to know about what times Ilia Malinin skates and when to catch the rest of the men’s figure skaters at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

What Time Does Ilia Malinin Skate at the Olympics?

Malinin is set to take the ice around 4:48 p.m. to 4:57 p.m., according to the official Olympics schedule. He’s the very last skater scheduled to take the ice.

The Men’s Free Skate Final starts at 1 p.m. Eastern time with Groups 1 and 2 and is airing live on the USA Network on cable and Peacock. Groups 3 and 4 start to skate around 3 p.m. Eastern time, and those performances can be seen on NBC and Peacock. Malinin is in Group 4.

Remember that if you don’t catch the “Quad God” live, NBC will be re-airing the action starting at 8 p.m. Eastern time on Friday, February 13.

Here’s the full Group 4 schedule and how to see Malinin:

According to Olympics research, “Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir of Canada are the most decorated Olympic figure skaters in history.” The ice dance team earned a total of five Olympic medals over three Games: three golds in the team and dance events in 2018 and the dance event in 2010 and two silvers in the team and dance events in 2014.

“Their combination of chemistry, technical excellence, and storytelling on ice captivated global audiences and redefined what ice dancing could be,” the official Olympics website notes. “Their long career also helped solidify Canada’s position as a powerhouse in the discipline.”
