At WrestleMania 42, Roman Reigns defeated CM Punk to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Reigns outlasted Punk in one of the best main events in recent memory.
The Tribal Chief later proclaimed that he would not be a part-timer during his reign as World Heavyweight Champion. His schedule has been scrutinized by some members of the WWE Universe, which he addressed on the WrestleMania 42 Sunday Post-Show.
“All this part-time crap, we’re gonna fix that,” Reigns said, via ClutchPoints. “Y’all better make some room, ‘cause y’all gonna see my a** all summer.”
The last time The OTC held a championship, it lasted for 1,316 days until Cody Rhodes ended it at WrestleMania 40.

The Tribal Chief was removed from the promotion poster and advertising materials for these four episodes of Raw.

Jacob Fatu Gaining Momentum Ahead of Backlash

On Friday’s episode of SmackDown, The Samoan Werewolf initially appeared backstage to greet an old friend, Royce Keys. They were attacked by Solo Sikoa and Talla Tonga of The MFTs.
Later in the main event between Solo and Talla against The Usos, Fatu got his revenge. He put the Tongan Death Grip on Solo and put Talla through the announcers’ table with a Samoan Drop.
The No. 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship then confronted Jey and Jimmy Uso to send a warning to Reigns ahead of their match at Backlash.
Other matches at Backlash include Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker, Asuka vs. IYO SKY, Trick Williams vs. Sami Zayn for the United States Championship, and Danhausen and TBD vs. The Miz and Kit Wilson in a tag team match.
