Throughout the US Open, former world No. 1 Naomi Osaka has debuted an all-new, one-of-a-kind, specially made Labubu doll in honor of some of the biggest names in tennis history.

Ahead of Osaka’s semifinal showdown with American standout Amanda Anisimova, let’s take a look at the four-time Grand Slam winner’s Labubu collection.

First, there was Billie Jean Bling

When Osaka stepped on court for her opening match of the 2025 US Open against Greet Minnen, she debuted her Billie Jean King-inspired Labubu doll.

While Osaka revealed during her on-court interview that she isn’t a Labubu collector, her Billie Jean Bling Labubu had already caught the attention of fans online.

During her post-match press conference, Osaka said she wasn’t expecting fans to be so invested, but she was glad Billie Jean Bling was such a hit.

Next, There Was Arthur Flashe

Following Naomi Osaka’s second-round win over Hailey Baptiste, she debuted Arthur Flashe, in honor of three-time Grand Slam Champion Arthur Ashe.

Ashe, whom the stadium court in Flushing Meadows is named after, became the first African American man to be ranked world No. 1, and, to this day, remains the only African American man to win the US Open, Wimbledon, or the Australian Open.

“This is my day Labubu. We decided he’s a he and his name is Arthur Flashe. So like, Arthur Ashe, but Arthur Flashe.”

Then, LaBillieBu Entered the Mix

Naomi Osaka notably has just a 7-13 record in the third round of Grand Slams, despite having a combined 45-11 record through the first two rounds, and a 16-2 record from the fourth round onward.

Although she faced off with No. 15-seeded Daria Kasatkina, Osaka managed to pick up a three-set win, punching her ticket to the Round of 16.

During her on-court interview, the former world No. 1 introduced the world to a second Billie Jean King-inspired Labubu, called “LaBillieBu.”

“This is modeled after the real Billie Jean King, because I had a Billie Jean Bling, so this is LaBillieBu. We saw a comment that Billie Jean King wanted one, so we just made this one for her.”

Naomi Osaka Then Introduced Althea Glitterson

After advancing to the fourth round, Osaka faced off with top-ranked American and 2023 US Open champion Coco Gauff.

Despite the high-stakes nature of the match, Osaka picked up a straight set win, advancing to the quarterfinal for the first time since 2020.

During her post-match press conference, Osaka introduced the world to Althea Glitterson, named after five-time Grand Slam champion Althea Gibson, who famously the first African American player to win a Grand Slam with her 1956 French Open win.

And Then There Was Andre Swagassi

Following a big win over Coco Gauff, Osaka entered into the quarterfinals with momentum on her side.

Across the court from her was a familiar foe, Karolina Muchova, whom she practiced with after touching down in New York for the 2025 US Open.

Despite the high-pressure clash, Osaka managed to pick up a straight-set win over Muchova, before then debuting Andre Swagassi, a Labubu paying tribute to eight-time Grand Slam winner Andre Agassi.
