Robert Saleh continues to forge the Tennessee Titans roster ahead of his first regular season with the franchise.
“In any situation, you’re always going to try to improve the roster and you’re always going to evaluate everything that you do,” the head coach said earlier in the offseason. “There’s never going to be a situation where we’re not trying to improve in any facet or form.”
With the season opener less than three weeks away, the AFC South team continues to make moves ahead of the second preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Tennessee added a couple of defenders ahead and made corresponding moves to make space.

The Tennessee Titans have announced they have added defensive end Tanoh Kpassagnon and LB Milo Eifler to the roster.
Kpassagnon, a former second-round draft pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, last played for the Chicago Bears in 2025. In his single season with the team, the DE logged a sack and 5 total tackles across four games.
In his career, Kpassagnon has logged 17.5 sacks and 146 tackles across 108 games played. The defender has played in 7 games combined over the last two seasons.
The defensive lineman won Super Bowl LIV as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs. In the AFC squad’s Lombardi-winning run, Tanoh Kpassagnon recorded 2 sacks, a pass deflection and 5 total tackles. He has made $14.7 million in his career.
Milo Eifler entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2021 and has not seen action in the last two seasons. The linebacker has played in 17 games in his career and has logged just four tackles.
Now landing with the Tennessee Titans, Eifler could use the AFC South franchise as a stepping stone to get his career back on track.
To make room for Tanoh Kpassagnon and Milo Eifler, the Titans made two corresponding moves: a release and placing a player on the reserve list after an injury.

To make space for the two latest additions to the defense, the Tennessee Titans have announced the release of tight end Matt Lauter and have placed cornerback Nazeeh Johnson on the reserve/injury list.
Lauter is a recent undrafted free agent from the 2026 class and has yet to make his NFL debut — with his release coming a few days after he originally signed with the Titans. In college, the tight end caught 97 passes for 1,146 yards and 12 touchdowns.
The Titans have placed Johnson on the reserve/injury list a few days after undergoing ankle surgery.
Johnson, who was recently suspended for six games due to violating the league’s PED policy, played two games for the Chiefs in the 2025 season.
In his time in the league, the cornerback has logged 3 pass deflections, a sack and 66 total tackles across three seasons.
With the Tennessee Titans still figuring out the small details in Robert Saleh’s and defensive coordinator Gus Bradley’s defense, the team could have a slow start to the 2025 season.
