After all of the crises hitting the UFC in recent weeks, Dana White seems to be struggling to put cards together for the rest of the year. For the first show of 2010, the card was originally set to be topped of by Vitor Belfort vs. Anderson Silva. Belfort’s elbow surgery nixed that, so the rescheduled Brock Lesnar / Shane Carwin bout took its place. With Brock in the hospital, that’s out too, so the UFC floated Antonio Rodrigo Noguiera vs. Cain Velasquez. With Nog out with staph, the fourth try now features Thiago Silva taking on Rashad Evans, which should be an entertaining fight but still somewhat disappointing considering what could have been.
