Tuchscherer Scores Controversial Decision

Chris Tuchscherer’s controversial decision victory over Tim Hague shocked and angered the Mandalay Bay crowd. Tuchscherer, the rotund training partner of UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar, likely won the second round of the fight. But it was a close round, and rounds one and three were heavily in Hague’s favor. The judges saw the fight differently, however, giving Tuchscherer two 29-28 scores with a third judge scoring it a draw.

Hague reacted with disgust, throwing his hands in the air and leaving the cage as quickly as possible. The crowd booed heavily until Tuchscherer left the building.
