
On Saturday, the Indiana Fever will open up their preseason when they visit the New York Liberty.
The Fever are coming off a season where they made the WNBA playoffs for the second straight year.
Front Office Sports wrote: “Caitlin Clark won’t be hard to find in the first year of the WNBA’s new rights deal. All 44 Indiana Fever games featuring Clark will be nationally televised or streamed this season—a record for a WNBA team.”

With the season upcoming, it’s worth noting that Fever star Caitlin Clark is on the verge of a major WNBA milestone.
Clark currently has 983 career points.
She needs just 17 to reach 1,000 for her career.
Last season, Clark averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 36.7% from the field and 27.9% from three-point range in 13 games.

Clark was the first pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft after a legendary college career at Iowa.
She played all four years for the Hawkeyes.
During her senior season, Clark averaged 31.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 8.9 assists and 1.7 steals per contest while shooting 45.5% from the field and 37.8% from three-point range in 39 games.

Clark had a sensational rookie season (in 2024), where she made the All-Star Game and led the Fever back to the WNBA playoffs.
That year, the 24-year-old averaged 19.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 8.6 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 41.7% from the field and 34.4% from three-point range in 40 games.
After missing most of last season, Clark will be looking to have a big bounce back year in 2026.
