Cut loose by Seattle

Gaskin was cut from Seattle's practice squad Saturday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports. Gaskin has bounced around Seattle for the last 10 weeks, with his only game appearance coming in Week 13. He's a candidate to re-join the Seahawks' practice squad, or find another opportunity around the league.

Back on practice squad

The Seahawks re-signed Gaskin to the practice squad Thursday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. Gaskin was waived by the Seahawks on Tuesday after being brought up during Sunday's win over the Vikings. The 28-year-old rushed three times for six yards in replacement of George Holani (hamstring), who was placed on injured reserve last Saturday.

Waived by Seattle

The Seahawks waived Gaskin on Tuesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports. Gaskin was signed to the active roster from the practice squad last Saturday and obtained his first carries of the 2025 campaign, rushing three times for six yards in Sunday's 26-0 win over the Vikings. The running back was signed due to George Holani's (hamstring) presence on injured reserve, and his waiving likely has to do with the Seahawks' signing of Cam Akers. If Gaskin clears waivers, we may find him back on the team's practice squad later this week.
