Alabama, fresh off a 42-13 win over Missouri, is trying to win its fourth title in six years. But first, they’ll have to go through the fourth-ranked Buckeyes.

Cardale Jones will look to carry over some of the magic from the Big Ten Championship and have his third career start be the title game.

SEC Champion Alabama will play Big Ten Champion Ohio State in the semifinal round, in the Allstate Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day.

In the three meetings between Nick Saban and Urban Meyer, Saban leads with a 2-1 record, winning both of the last two games.

The other semifinal game will have second-ranked Oregon playing third-ranked Florida State.
