The Champions League group stage draw took place on Thursday in Monaco and the top clubs from across the continent found out who they will have to navigate past to get to the knockout stages.
As it is the case every year, Premier League club Manchester City were given a tough group with last year’s finalists Juventus, Europa League winners Sevilla and dangerous German team Borussia Mönchengladbach. Holders Barcelona and Premier League champions Chelsea were given relatively easy paths to the final 16.
The Champions League begins Sept. 15.
