Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy entered the history books on November 28 as he became the first player to score in 11 consecutive English Premier League games. The forward is also incredibly lucky off the pitch where he’s engaged to the beautiful Rebekah “Becky” Nicholson, 33. In response to his record breaking moment, she wrote on Twitter “Never a more prouder moment! This guy is not only my hero, he’s my inspiration!…No words left.”

1. He Rearranged Their Wedding in Case He Gets Selected for Euro 2016

In response to his recent England recognition, Vardy has moved his wedding date to Becky up to May 25, reports ESPN. With his goalscoring exploits, it’s likely that Vardy will play some part in the tournament for Roy Hodgson’s team.
Vardy said about his rescheduling “I was due to get married bang on the start of the Euros…It was on a weekend, it’s now a midweek, which is not ideal for guests, but is just one of those things.” The Daily Telegraph reported in December 2014 that his girlfriend had just given birth to the couple’s first child, a girl named Sofia.
2. In Midst of Vardy’s Heroism, Their Home Has Become the Target of Vandals
In November 2015, Becky wrote on Twitter that her and Vardy’s home was being targeted by pranksters who were ringing their doorbell all night. She said “To the little T**** that think it’s funny pressing my gate buzzer continuously scaring my kids at 12.30am shouting Jamie your on camera. Have some respect! There is a baby living in this house! Next time I won’t be messing! #b*******.”
3. She’s a Director of Vardy’s Training Academy for Non-League Players

As Vardy became a household name, he launched the V9 Academy, an organization aimed at helping non-league soccer players fulfill their potential. Vardy himself was a product of the non-league system. Online records show that the company was set up in May 2015 as V9 Media. Becky is listed as a director under the moniker “Dr. Rebekah Nicholson.” The other directors are Jamie Vardy and a Manchester based lawyer name Sam Mabon.
4. She Was at the Casino With Vardy During His Infamous Racist Rant
Becky was with Vardy when he was caught up in a racist storm that was first reported by The Sun newspaper. During an encounter with a man at a casino Vardy said “Yo, Jap, walk on!” One witness told The Sun “He behaved like an absolute animal, it was appalling. The other guy was a man of East Asian appearance. He looked shocked by what happened. The club should investigate. I was outraged.” You can watch the incident above, Becky is visible beside her fiancee.
In an apology afterwards Vardy said “I wholeheartedly apologise for any offence I’ve caused. It was a regrettable error in judgement I take full responsibility for and I accept my behaviour was not up to what’s expected of me.”
5. She Spends a Huge Amount of Time Answering Back to Vardy Trolls on Twitter
On her Twitter page, Becky seems to spend a lot of time answering back to Twitter trolls who reference Vardy’s poor record in 2014/15 as well as his racist outburst. One troll who referenced Vardy’s early records was hit with “Forgetting injury, non selection and suspensions! Your entitled to an opinion but #chatshitgetbanged.” While another got “And your qualified to pass judgement on what’s good enough and what’s not??” Ouch.
