Caroline Wozniacki, 25 year-old Danish tennis player and No. 18 player in the world, has had a scrutinized romantic life. Her much-publicized breaking off of her engagement with professional golfer Rory McIlroy was the stuff of tabloid fodder; allegedly McIlroy dumped Wozniacki over the phone just weeks before they were to be wed.
But Wozniacki didn’t let that get her down. She rebounded to play better than ever shortly after the relationship ended in May 2014. Since then, she has been linked with over athletes, including NFL superstar J.J. Watt, whom she was seen attending the 2015 Final Four with.
But now, it appears she may have a basketball player whom she keep near and dear. Wozniacki has been spotted with Boston Celtics forward David Lee, notably in Miami at at Villa Casa Casaurina, formerly known as The Versace Mansion.
While Wozniacki is playing close to the vest and a bit coy and hasn’t admitted it’s a real relationship, others think it might be something at the moment. We’ll have to stay tuned to see if it lasts.
Heading into the 2016 Australian Open, Wozniacki is slated to take on Yulia Putintseva in the opening round of what looks to be a tough draw for Wozniacki.
