Tennessee vs. Texas A&M: Point Spread, Total & Prediction

Tennessee heads to College Station to take on Texas A&M in a Saturday afternoon SEC showdown. According to OddsShark, Texas A&M is favored by seven points heading into the matchup.

The over-under is set at 57.5 points. The OddsShark computer projects a 32.2-29.8 Aggies win. The computer is taking Tennessee against the spread and the over on the point total.

Both teams come into the matchup undefeated. The Vols have had a thrilling start to the season with three comeback victories including last week’s win over Georgia that came on a last second Hail Mary.

Texas A&M has had a great start to the season with wins over UCLA, Auburn, Arkansas and South Carolina. The Aggies offense has thrived with Oklahoma-transfer Trevor Knight at quarterback.

Tennessee brings with it a lot of momentum, but Texas A&M is the more talented team. The Aggies pair of defensive ends Daeshon Hall and Myles Garrett have the ability to create havoc on Tennessee quarterback Josh Dobbs. Tennessee has yet to put together a complete game this season.

The Aggies are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games. Heavy likes Tennessee to hang around until the fourth quarter, but Texas A&M’s talent will eventually win out. The Aggies will pull away at the end to defeat the Vols and cover the spread.

Heavy’s Pick: Texas A&M 34 Tennessee 24. Texas A&M -7. Over on the Point Total.
