Wisconsin vs. Michigan: Point Spread, Total & Prediction

Wisconsin heads to the Big House to take on Michigan in a Big Ten matchup featuring two teams ranked in the top ten. According to OddsShark, Michigan is favored by 11 points heading into the contest.

The over-under is set at 45 points. The OddsShark computer is projecting a 25.8-14.4 Michigan victory over Wisconsin. The computer is taking Michigan to cover the spread and the under on the point total.

While Wisconsin is coming off a big win against Michigan State, they face a higher caliber test today against Michigan. The Wolverines have one of the best defenses in the country and quarterback Wilton Speight has the offense more than capable of putting up points.

The S&P+ statistical projections also predicts a sizable Michigan win. The Wolverines are playing their fifth straight game this season in Ann Arbor. Wisconsin’s freshman quarterback Alex Hornibrook will be making just his second career start.

Heavy likes Michigan to take care of business against Wisconsin. The Wolverines defense will be able to put pressure on Hornibrook and force him into turnovers. Michigan’s offense features a more potent attack than the one the Badgers faced last week in East Lansing. Michigan has too many weapons on both sides of the ball for Wisconsin to end up victorious.

Heavy’s Pick: Michigan 27 Wisconsin 13. Michigan -11. Under on the Point Total.
