Thought that Oklahoma City was the only fan base upset about the way in which Kevin Durant’s free agency played out? Think again.

The Boston Celtics, who host Durant and the Golden State Warriors Friday night, were one of six teams felt to have a shot at landing the 6-foot-11 forward and the franchise brought out all the stops. In addition to attempting to sell Durant on the idea of joining forces with Isaiah Thomas and Al Horford, the Celtics front office brought in New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for their meeting with the star forward.

The pitch was unsuccessful, as Durant decided to join forces with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and a franchise that erased a 3-1 deficit to eliminate Oklahoma City in the Western Conference Finals. As a result, a street vendor in Boston decided to make a T-shirt just in time for Friday’s meeting between the Warriors and Celtics. Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle took a picture of the shirt, with the person’s face not being revealed.

If a shirt declaring Durant to be a “female dog” is being sold in Boston, one could only imagine the shirt ideas for Durant’s first trip back to Oklahoma City as a member of the Warriors on February 11.
