The Road to Cardiff is almost complete, as the final four teams in UEFA Champions League are nearly set. Wednesday is the end of quarterfinal action, leaving us with the four best teams in Europe to be drawn into semifinal pairings.

After Tuesday’s action, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are headed to the semifinals. Real Madrid are advancing to next round for the seventh consecutive year, and Atletico Madrid are in pursuit of a third final appearance in the last four years.

They’ll be joined by Monaco and Juventus, who advanced on Wednesday. Juventus shut down Barcelona to reach the semis for the third time in four years, while Monaco is heading to the final four for the first time since 2004.

The semifinal draw will take place on Friday from UEFA headquarters. Unlike in previous rounds, there are no restrictions regarding which teams can be drawn together. That means that Spanish rivals Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid can be drawn together when the names are pulled in Zurich.

Viewers can watch the draw live on Friday from the UEFA website.

Once the teams are drawn, the matchups will be played in May. The first legs will be on the 2nd and 3rd, with the return legs coming the following week. Once we’re down to the final two teams, we’re all set for the final in Cardiff on Saturday, June 3rd.

Of the remaining teams, Real Madrid are the betting favorites at +150, with Juventus slightly behind at +200. Atletico are third at +350, with Monaco as the darkhorse valued at +600 (Odds via Bovada).
