Josh Hart : Flirts with triple-double in win
Hart notched 14 points (5-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), nine assists, eight rebounds and three steals over 38 minutes in Sunday's 110-93 win over Portland. Hart did a little bit of everything for New York in Sunday's victory, leading all players in assists to go along with a team-high-tying trio of steals and finishing second among Knicks in rebounds in a near triple-double showcase. Hart has recorded at least 10 points, eight rebounds and eight assists in 16 outings, doing so in three of his last four appearances.
OG Anunoby : Showcases two-way play in win
Anunoby finished with 28 points (11-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, three steals, two assists and two blocks over 37 minutes in Sunday's 110-93 win over Portland. Anunoby did a little bit of everything in Sunday's contest, recording team-high-tying marks in scoring, steals and blocks while also contributing on the glass in a well-rounded showing. Anunoby has recorded at least 25 points with three steals on five occasions, including in two straight appearances.
Landry Shamet : Top scorer off bench in victory
Shamet posted 11 points (4-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt), four rebounds and one steal over 19 minutes in Sunday's 110-93 win over Portland. Shamet shined offensively off the bench in Sunday's contest, connecting on a team-high trio of threes and leading all Knicks bench players in scoring in a double-digit effort. Shamet matched a season high in threes made, a mark he has recorded in five outings. He has reached double figures in scoring on five occasions, including in three of his last five contests.
Jalen Brunson : Cleared for basketball activities
Brunson (ankle) has been cleared for basketball activities and is feeling better, though there's still no specific timetable for his return, Tim Bontemps of ESPN.com reports. Brunson has been on the shelf since March 7 due to the sprained right ankle, though he said Sunday that he's hopeful to return before the playoffs, per James L. Edwards III of The Athletic. The superstar point guard can be considered week-to-week until the club provides another update on his status, and he will likely face restrictions if he returns during the regular season.
Pacome Dadiet : Recalled to parent club Saturday
The Knicks recalled Dadiet from the G League's Westchester Knicks on Saturday. The rookie first-round pick will join the parent club ahead of Sunday's game against Portland. Dadiet averaged 14.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists in the regular season for Westchester, and he could rejoin the G League Knicks during their opening game of the G League Playoffs on Thursday.
Miles McBride : Ruled out against Portland
McBride (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers, Stefan Bondy of The New York Post reports. McBride will miss a fifth straight game for the Knicks on Sunday while nursing a groin injury. New York is dealing with many injuries in the backcourt, with Jalen Brunson (ankle) and Cam Cameron Payne (ankle) also ruled out for this game. The Knicks will likely lean on Delon Wright and Tyler Kolek to pick up the slack against the Trail Blazers.
Cameron Payne : Another absence coming
Payne (ankle) will not play Sunday against the Trail Blazers. Payne will miss a second straight game Sunday. With Miles McBride (groin) and Jalen Brunson (ankle) on the shelf as well, Delon Wright could draw another start with Tyler Kolek and Landry Shamet soaking up some reps off the bench.
Jalen Brunson : Out again Sunday
Brunson (ankle) will not play Sunday against the Trail Blazers. Brunson will be sidelined for a 12th game in a row Sunday. However, he's been able to do some light work at recent practices, and a return in the near future could be on the table. His next chance to play comes April 1 against the 76ers, the first leg of a back-to-back set.
