While Clarke may be keeping the seat warm until Zach Edey's (ankle) return, the veteran big man has been a steady presence for Memphis since joining the starting lineup. Over 14 starts, he's averaged 8.5 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists.
Starting role continues
Clarke provided eight points (4-6 FG), six rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes during Tuesday's 121-116 loss to the Mavericks. Clarke continues to start for the Grizzlies but to this point, has struggled to deliver what might be considered adequate production.
