Jimmy Holiday: Everything you need to know

Holiday reverted to the Chiefs' practice squad and signed a reserve/future contract with Kansas City on Monday, Charles Goldman of AtoZSports.com reports. Holiday was elevated to the Chiefs' active roster for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Raiders, when he played one of 64 offensive snaps without showing up on the box score otherwise. He'll be on the Chiefs' 90-man roster during the offseason and will look to do enough during OTAs, minicamp and training camp to earn a spot on the team's 53-man roster for the 2026 season.

The Chiefs elevated Holiday from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Charles Goldman of AtoZSports.com reports. Holiday has bounced on and off the Chiefs' practice squad this season, and this marks his first elevation. With Rashee Rice (concussion), Tyquan Thornton (concussion) both sidelined and Xavier Worthy (illness) looking unlikely to suit up, Holiday could be active for the first time in his career.

Kansas City signed Holiday to the practice squad Wednesday. Holiday spent time with the Chiefs this offseason then bounced on and off the team's practice squad early in the regular season. He then landed on Seattle's practice squad late November, and the Seahawks cut him Dec. 13. Now, Holiday will resume handling an emergency depth role with Kansas City.
