The Minnesota Vikings recently watched two former contributors join the Las Vegas Raiders this offseason.
Kirk Cousins was the Vikings’ QB from 2018 through 2023. In 2024, he signed a deal as a free agent with the Atlanta Falcons.
Nailor was drafted by the Vikings in 2022 in the 7th round. He was undoubtably the best player from Minnesota’s haul that year.
Now, these two men have found themselves again on the same team. Cousins signed a 5-year/$172 million deal, however, it’s really just a 1-year deal for around $10 million. Nailor signed a 3-year/$35 million deal with $23 million guaranteed.
Cousins recently told all regarding his opinions of Jalen Nailor.
Vikings Ex-QB Kirk Cousins Speaks on WR Jalen Nailor

The former signal caller of the Minnesota Vikings, Kirk Cousins, recently shared his thoughts about WR Jalen Nailor. Ezekiel Trezevant of Sports Illustrated shared them on the site.
“I’m really excited about Jalen [Nailor], because I was with him in Minnesota, and I could see his ability. When you have Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen, it’s hard to get the ball as a receiver, because you’re going to target Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen, and yet, every t ime Jalen got opportunities, he showed what he could do. And I think that showed even more there once I left Minnesota.”
Cousins spent the 2022 and 2023 season with Nailor in Minnesota.
“But I think to have him here and now in a bigger role, I think that’s really exciting, because it allows the player to really fulfill his potential. And so, I think he knows that, I know that, and I’m excited to get on the grass with him, and routes on air and in team drills, and just start to build that rapport and really allow him to have a much bigger role moving forward, because I think he’s capable of carrying a bigger role.”
Nailor will no doubt be a big part of the Raiders offense in 2026. The same could be said for Kirk Cousins, if the Raiders don’t want to rush their assumed long-term QB plan Fernando Mendoza on to the field.

The visit was reported by KSTP’s Darren Wolfson via tweet.
“Add Kentucky RB Seth McGowan to the list of #Vikings draft visitors last week. The Vikings had at least three RBs visit: McGowan, Coleman (Washington), and Johnson (Nebraska).”
Dustin Baker of Vikings Territory covered some insight into McGowan’s 2025 season with the Kentucky Wildcats, and his style of play.
“McGowan is 6’0″ and 225 pounds, so he has plenty of size. He’s known for his patience and power. Weakness? Very little explosion and ball security woes. The Wildcat compiled 725 rushing yards on 165 carries last year with 12 touchdowns.”
And to get to know him a little better, consider what Dane Brugler had to say.
“McGowan is a good-sized, coordinated athlete with adequate vision and run strength, although his lack of explosive traits and inconsistent third-down value will make it an uphill climb to prove his worth on an NFL roster.”
Seth McGowan totaled 1,918 rushing yards, 604 receiving yards, and 18 rushing touchdowns in his college career.
