According to Hayes Fawcett of On3/Rivals, five-star quarterback Elijah Haven has narrowed down his choices to Alabama and the Georgia Bulldogs.
Who is Elijah Haven?
Elijah Haven is widely considered a five-star prospect and the nation’s No. 1-ranked quarterback in the class of 2027.
Hailing from Dunham High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Haven possesses elite size at 6-foot-4 and weighs 220 pounds, and is coming off a remarkable junior season where he threw for nearly 4,000 yards and a state-record 62 touchdowns while completing over 73 percent of his passes. He added nearly 800 rushing yards and 11 scores on the ground, proving he is a true dual-threat player.
When is Elijah Haven Announcing His Commitment?
We are now just a few days away from learning where Haven intends to play his college career. On April 12, Rivals reported that the playmaking gunslinger is set to announce his commitment on April 25.
Tide fans will not have to wait much longer to see if Kalen DeBoer and the Alabama coaching staff can haul in a five-star quarterback in three straight recruiting cycles.
Will Elijah Haven pick Alabama or Georgia?
While you can’t count your chickens before they hatch, DeBoer and the Alabama coaching staff feel confident about where they stand with Haven.
According to On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine, Alabama has a 97.5% chance of landing Haven. Brett Greenberg of Bama247 also has a crystal ball prediction for the Tide to secure a commitment from the No.1 QB.
Most of the momentum appears to be trending toward the Crimson Tide, but you can never count out Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs.
