Ultimate Fighter Finale Provides 8 Finishes

The first season of The Ultimate Fighter Live on FX came to a conclusion last night at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas.  In the co-main event of the evening, Mike Chiesa captured the title of “Ultimate Fighter” as he made quick work of fellow finalist Al Iaquinta – winning via rear naked choke in the first round.

In the main event, two welterweight title contenders squared off in a back and forth affair that saw Martin Kampmann rally from one round down to score a second round TKO over Jake Ellenberger.  Kampmann has now won three fights in a row, defeating Rick Story and Thiago Alves prior to Ellenberger.
