Conor McGregor is a big underdog against Max Holloway.

UFC superstar Conor McGregor opened up as a big betting underdog for a rematch against Max Holloway, which is rumored for this summer.

McGregor has been in talks with the UFC for a while now about a potential return to the Octagon this summer after five years away. No opponent has been finalized yet, but recent reports have suggested a rematch against Holloway is the UFC’s first choice. In addition, Paddy Pimblett is expected to fight Benoit Saint Denis in the co-main event of UFC 329, which is set to take place on July 11 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. If it gets booked, McGregor vs. Holloway 2 will be the cornerstone of the annual UFC International Fight Week.

With McGregor vs. Holloway 2 and Pimblett vs. Saint Denis both reportedly in the works, BetOnline revealed odds for the two fights rumored for UFC 329. Check out the odds below.

Max Holloway -270
Conor McGregor +230

Benoit Saint Denis -135
Paddy Pimblett +115

Conor McGregor Defeated Max Holloway in 2013

McGregor and Holloway first met back in 2013. At the time, it was McGregor’s second UFC fight, while it was Holloway’s sixth fight inside the Octagon. Although McGregor is known for knocking everyone out, the Holloway fight was one of the rare times he was forced to use his wrestling. That’s because McGregor tore his ACL in the fight, which ended up sidelining him for a year. Either way, it was a tremendous game plan switch-up for McGregor, as he was able to take Holloway down to the ground and control him for a unanimous decision win.

Over the 13 years since they first fought, McGregor and Holloway became two of the most beloved fighters in UFC history. McGregor won both the UFC featherweight and UFC lightweight titles, while Holloway became a longtime featherweight champion. There have always been rumblings that the two could meet inside the Octagon for a second time, and it appears 2026 is the right time for the rematch.

As for the betting odds, Holloway is a big betting favorite right now, which is likely due to being far more active in recent years, not to mention being the more durable fighter. But you can never count McGregor out due to his KO threat, and if this fight takes place in the welterweight division as expected, the Irishman will likely have the size advantage. Hopefully, the UFC can finalize this fight soon so these two men can get into their training camps and start preparing for the bout.

Pimblett, Saint Denis Rumored for Collision Course

The other rumored bout for UFC 329 is a lightweight matchup between Pimblett and Saint Denis. Pimblett was 7-0 in the UFC until he met Justin Gaethje at UFC 324 earlier this year, losing by unanimous decision in a five-round slugfest. As for Saint Denis, he is 9-3 in the UFC, and he rides into this bout on a four-fight win streak, with all of those wins coming by way of stoppage.

Both Pimblett and Saint Denis are fan favorites, and this is going to be a highly anticipated fight whenever it gets officially announced. Given his current form, Saint Denis opened as a small betting favorite, but the odds are fairly close, as the oddsmakers are giving Pimblett lots of respect despite his recent loss.
