The UFC experimented with UFC 111 by showing the card in movie theaters across the country. Apparently the event was a success as UFC 115 will be the next UFC event to be shown on the silver screen. UFC 115 takes place on June 12 and will mark the organizations first trip to Vancouver. The card was originally scheduled to be headlined by a third bout between heated rivals Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz, but Rich Franklin has taken Ortiz’s spot opposite “The Iceman.”
The cost for watching UFC events at theaters varies by location, but typically hovers around the $25 price point.
