UFC 119 Drug Tests Come Back Negative

Mir vs. Cro Cop
The UFC 119 drug tests are in and – unlike with UFC 117, where headliner Chael Sonnen tested positive for steroids –there is no drama attached to these results.

The executive director of the Indiana Gaming Commission’s athletic division, Andy Means, passed along the results to MMAjunkie.com earlier today, and the results of all nine fighters who were tested came back clean.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir, who scored a vicious knockout in the main event after 14 minutes of basically no action, was one of the fighters tested, as was opponent Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic. Co-main event winner Ryan Bader and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira were also tested.

Other main card fighters that were tested include Chris Lytle, Melvin Guillard, and Sean Sherk, who all earned decision victories on the main card. The two preliminary card fighters that were tested were Matt Mitrione, who defeated Joey Beltran on the judges’ scorecards, and C.B. Dollaway, who had arguably the most impressive performance of the night with his submission victory over Joe Doerksen.
