Headlined by Evan Dunham vs. Melvin Guillard, UFC Fight Night 23 is official with eleven bouts
“UFC Fight Night 23: UFC Fight for the Troops 2” takes place at Fort Hood near Killeen, Texas and will raise money for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.
Dunham was originally slated to take on Kenny Florian, but a knee injury forced Florian off the card. Guillard was lined up to take on Yves Edwards, but was moved to the main event replacing Florian.
Edwards now takes on The Ultimate Fighter 12’s Cody McKenzie in preliminary action.
The event will be the third time the UFC has hosted an event on a U.S. military base and will air on Spike TV on Jan. 22.
