Eliot Marshall is back in the UFC.

The Ultimate Fighter 8 veteran Eliot Marshall has stepped up to replace the injured Karlos Vemola against Luiz Cane at UFC 128.

Tatame.com first reported the news.

Following his stint on TUF 8, Marshall reeled off three consecutive victories in the UFC before being cut after a decision to Vladimir Matyushenko in March of 2010.

After being cut from the UFC roster, Marshall has strung together a three-fight win streak outside of the Octagon. A victory over Cane next month would tie his longest winning streak as a professional.

UFC 128 takes place on March 19 at the Prudential Center in Newwark, N.J. and is headlined by the light heavyweight title bout between Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Jon Jones.
