Randy Couture Organizes Poker Run For Charity

UFC Hall of Famer Randy “The Natural” Couture has organized a poker run for charity.

The May 7 event will benefit The Xtreme Couture G.I. Foundation.

Couture founded the G.I. Foundation in 2005 after visiting soldiers in Iraq with the 101st Airborne. Couture served in the Army from 1982 to 1988.

Poker runs involve motorcycling from place to place to pick up playing cards until one has a full poker hand. Whoever has the best poker hand back at the starting location wins.

The run takes place at O School Choppers in Las Vegas. Registration is $25 per rider and $10 per passenger. The run begins onsite at 9 a.m.

Couture has invited his “Expendables” co-stars Jason Statham and Mickey Rourke along with Kevin James, Sean Patrick Flanery and David Zayas. UFC lightweight contender Gray Maynard will participate as well as referee “Big” John McCarthy.

Last Christmas, the Foundation gave 10 military families $10,000 each.
